The RB73 Quercus Stove Outdoor Fire with Pizza Oven has been developed in response to a need for a closed fireplace with pizza oven. As a basis, they have chosen to perform the visible parts with 6 mm thick CorTen steel, this gives the fireplace a strong and sturdy look.
There is a 20 cm stump on the stove where the pipe falls over, this way no water can get into the stove. The legs are fitted with stainless steel bolts, which allow you to place the fireplace free of the surface so that no rust marks appear on the terrace. There will be no MOBILE platform. The fireplace is too narrow to make a mobile platform that allows you to move it safely without the risk of tipping over.
Both door handles are integrated at the right side of the door. Here too we have chosen to attach the side panels to the stove with hooks, so that they can always be easily removed later. Also here extra air slots for aeration of the glass so that they remain nice and clean. There is also a deep firing bottom here with the well-known refractory concrete.
The back wall is also provided with fireproof concrete as standard. For the flue we used the same CorTen steel pipes that are known from the Quaruba series. The lower pipe is again provided with an adjustable valve so that the flame image can be regulated somewhat. The exhaust is placed at the back so that the flames and hot flue gases have to go back as much as possible and thus heat the bottom and back of the pizza oven.
The stone in the pizza oven is a special pizza oven stone. If the fireplace is heated vigorously, the oven can be heated at around 250 degrees. A pizza can of course be made here, but also all kinds of oven dishes.
